Framework License
Unless otherwise identified, the explanatory QEEPP framework content published on qeepp.com, built around Quality, Effectiveness, Efficiency, Performance, and Productivity, is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license.
What the License Allows
For non-commercial purposes, individuals and organizations may copy, share, reference,
adapt, and build upon the licensed QEEPP framework content, provided that appropriate
attribution is maintained, the CC BY-NC 4.0 license is identified, and any modifications
are clearly indicated.
Attribution must not suggest that QEEPP or its author sponsors, endorses, certifies, or
approves the user, organization, adaptation, service, or resulting work.
Internal Organizational Use
In addition to the rights provided under CC BY-NC 4.0, organizations may apply the
licensed QEEPP framework content internally to evaluate, communicate, govern, and improve
their own digital transformation and modernization initiatives, provided that appropriate
attribution is maintained.
This additional permission covers internal organizational application. It does not authorize
the use of QEEPP in paid client services, commercial training, certification, software,
packaged assessments, licensed products, or other revenue-generating offerings.
Reserved Components
The following components are excluded from the CC BY-NC 4.0 framework license unless a
specific asset or publication expressly states otherwise:
QEEPP assessment methodology, assessment controls, diagnostic prompts and questionnaires,
scoring models, maturity calculations, structured interview methods, implementation
instruments, templates, software, certification materials, training materials, and
proprietary assessment or reporting tools.
These reserved components remain the intellectual property of the author. They may not be
copied, redistributed, adapted, relicensed, published, incorporated into another methodology,
or used to provide commercial services without prior written authorization.
Commercial Use
Prior written authorization is required to use QEEPP or its associated models, methods,
instruments, or reserved components in commercial consulting, paid assessments, training,
certification, software, subscription services, packaged offerings, client deliverables,
or other activities primarily intended for commercial advantage or monetary compensation.
Authorization may be provided through a separate commercial license, partnership agreement,
or other written permission issued by the author.
Brand and Model Names
QEEPP, the QEEPP name and logo, QEEPP Starfish, QEEPP Radar, QEEPP Trends, QEEPP Matrix,
QEEPP Cube, QEEPP 125, and associated model names, visual identities, and brand identifiers
are not licensed under Creative Commons.
Descriptive reference to these names is permitted when identifying or attributing the
framework. Their use in company names, product names, domain names, certifications,
commercial offerings, branded derivative frameworks, or materials that may imply endorsement
requires prior written authorization.

No Endorsement
Use of QEEPP framework content does not create a partnership, certification, authorization, or endorsement relationship with QEEPP or its author. Adapted materials and independent applications must be presented in a way that clearly distinguishes them from official QEEPP publications, assessments, services, and authorized implementations.
License Scope and Exceptions
The CC BY-NC 4.0 license applies only to material clearly identified as licensed QEEPP
framework content. It does not grant rights to third-party materials, trademarks, logos,
reserved components, or content that is separately identified as proprietary or subject
to different terms.
Rights available under applicable copyright exceptions or limitations remain unaffected.
